The Future of Legal Education in Scotland conference - 19-20 May

The University of Glasgow’s School of Law is hosting a conference on The Future of Legal Education in Scotland on Thursday 19 and Friday 20 May 2022 at The Glasgow Grosvenor Hotel.  

The conference will look at legal education broadly, covering topics such as access to the legal profession, the current curriculum, other jurisdictions and changing trainee expectations.  

Speakers include practitioners, academics, students and representatives from the Law Society of Scotland.  The opening address will be given by Lord Eassie, Chair of the Joint Standing Committee on Legal Education.  

The conference costs £50 for the two days and is free to students.  An optional dinner on the Thursday evening is an additional £30.  Please register via Eventbrite here.
